Your Guide To: Prostate Orgasms

You may have heard by now that yes, orgasm via the prostate is not only possible, but also extremely pleasurable! Let’s learn more about the prostate, where the prostate is, and how to stimulate it!

The Prostate

The prostate is a is little gland, about the size of a walnut, located in cisgender men and those who were born male. It’s located between the penis and the bladder and can be felt from inside of the rectum. Need a quick little anatomy lesson? See below.

Okay now that we know who has it and where it is, let’s chat a little bit regarding this lil guy. Most commonly speaking, especially for straight males, anal play has not always been on the table and it is not always a topic of discussion. Typically, the penis is the one and only avenue to achieve orgasm. This is likely due to our societal ideas of gender (which are not always right) and homophobia. Let’s change this, shall we?? Everyone can benefit from orgasms! The prostate orgasm has been known to be on the more intense side, one that you can feel through your entire body.

How can you or you plus a parter explore and achieve anal play? Follow the steps below.

  1. Let’s start with our favorite word. CONSENT. Make sure all parties involved have discussed and agree to anal play.

  2. RELAX BB! As with all of our anal advise, relaxing is the best way to approach the rear.

  3. Play around a bit! The prostate can be reached from both the outside of the anus and the inside. From the outside: you can stimulate via the taint, or perineum - between the shaft and the anus. You’ll know this is it because touching it will cause a sensation similar to that of needing to pee. From the inside: directly inside of the rectum, it feels like a fleshy bulb of tissue.

  4. Don’t forget the lube! This + a relaxed mindset are going to make this experience so pleasurable. Voodoo has a variety to choose from.

  5. If you feel uncomfortable or anxious about the idea of something possibly coming out that isn’t supposed to, it is recommended to shower before and some also do an enema (totally not necessary).

  6. There are so many toys to help you get used to this sensation if you are not ready to do so yourself or have a partner do it. Try Voodoo’s Plug Walk.

  7. If you are ready to play yourself, or you a partner learning how to play with another’s prostate, think about cleaning your hands and cutting your nails so this can be as pleasant of a process as possible.

  8. Think about positions:

    • Lay on one side and bring the top leg up to your chest.

    • Lay on your stomach with your legs spread about a bit.

    • Doggy style - this will open you up a bit.

    • Lay on your back and pull both of your legs up to your chest.

  9. Okay we’re almost there. Now what do we do?? With your fingers, the most common ways to apply pressure through the anus:

    • From the outside - use your finger as though you’re ringing a doorbell. Play with the speed and the pressure based on yours or your partner’s preference.

    • Inside and outside - move the finger in very quick motions. Almost to the point where your wrist starts to hurt a bit.

    • Inside - try the “come hither” movement with your finger while you feel the prostate gland.

    • Inside - circle the prostate gland, with varying points of pressure.

Keep the lines of communication open, let your partner know what you’re liking and what you’re not liking. You may not achieve orgasm right away, but keep trying if you enjoy!

When orgasm is achieved, know that there may be an ejaculation out of the penis. It is typically ejaculation without the sperm, oftentimes compared to a milky substance.

Have fun, bbs!
